Inside the hotel building, which was originally an aristocratic palazzo, there are just 13 rooms, all restored and refurbished to maintain the historic character of the building. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and have lovely en-suite bathrooms with fitted hairdryer and a range of complimentary toiletries. Rooms are furnished tastefully with pieces of period furniture and original antique prints and artworks. An abundant buffet breakfast is served each morning, including a selection of local cheeses, Tuscan salamis, home-made cakes and conserves, all served either in the former stables or in the shade of the century-old wisteria that overhangs the hotel garden.
