The Aparthotel Esperya in Lignano Sabbiadoro - this comfortable three-star hotel in Udine province has an excellent position just 50 metres from the beach at Lignano Sabbiadoro. Lignano's excellent shopping centre with its boutiques, restaurants and bars is also close by. Lignano lies at the northern edge of the beautiful Gulf of Venice, and this area of Italy is one of the least known and most unspoilt. The border with Slovenia is very close, and the province has a wealth of natural beauty with stunning limestone mountains in the north and gentle pine-clad hills to the south and east. The beaches here are broad and sandy, bounded as they are by the shallow blue waters of the Adriatic Sea, making this an ideal spot for family holidays.

Lignano's Aparthotel Esperya offers guests an easy balance between hotel and independent living, with its 27 self-catering apartments each featuring an open-plan living and kitchen area, satellite television, direct-dial telephone, a personal safe and en-suite shower room with a fitted hairdryer. There is a separate bedroom in each apartment with a double bed (larger apartments have two bedrooms) and sofa-bed plus an additional sofa-bed in the living area. All apartments are accessible by lift/elevator and there is also a refrigerated minibar. There is also individually controlled air-conditioning and heating.

On the ground floor of the apartment building, there is a fully-staffed reception area and the hotel's Oxide lounge/bar/restaurant. Breakfast is available between 7.30 and 10.30 and the hotel restaurant offers lunch and dinner, too. The menu features typical local and regional Mediterranean dishes and there is also a children's menu for under-12s and a separate baby menu for the smallest children. The hotel has a bar, which is open between 8am and midnight. Lignano Sabbiadoro's Aparthotel Esperya has a private garage which guests are welcome to use, and there is also a stretch of beach reserved for guests. Pets are not admitted here and there is no internet access.
