The luxurious Aquaviva Hotel and Spa lies amidst beautiful, gently rolling countryside. Named after a miraculous spring from an ancient Sienese legend, this sumptuous modern hotel is close to the medieval village of Casole d'Elsa, not far from San Gimignano and the wonderful hilltop town of Volterra.

There are 35 rooms plus a Junior Suite, all with private balconies or gardens, en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, telephone and internet connection. Superior rooms also have a Jacuzzi as well as a separate shower. All guests have use of their own safety-deposit box, a well-stocked minbar and a hairdryer.

The hotel boasts a spacious and impressively equipped 'wellness centre' where guests can use the Finnish sauna and steam room, choose between the indoor and outdoor swimming pool with its waterfall feature, or try an invigorating thermo-hydrotherapy treatment or an aromatherapy massage. Various relaxing or rejuvenating treatments are also available or guests can hire mountain bikes to explore the hotel grounds and the gorgeous countryside around.
