This charming family-run hotel in Genoa is situated on the second floor of a wonderful historic building in the centre of the city. The railway station is a short distance away and the ferry terminal, the university district and the hugely popular Aquarium lie around 500 metres from the Balbi Family Hotel. Genoa (or Genova) is one of northern Italy's most atmospheric towns and has a rich history and culture as one of Europe's foremost trading ports throughout the Middle Ages.

The two-star Hotel Balbi has just 13 rooms, all with en-suite bathroom facilities, cable/satellite television, direct-dial telephone with fax facility and a minibar. A continental breakfast is included in the price of your room and an iron and ironing board is provided for your convenience. Pets are welcome to join guests in their rooms and children under the age of four stay free of charge with their parents. Cots/cribs are provided and there are high chairs in the breakfast room for the little ones.
