Lucca train station is within easy walking distance and the city, with its amazing array of Romanesque churches and pretty Renaissance buildings is all around you. This part of the city is largely pedestrianised and the winding maze of medieval alleyways, palazzi and charming squares makes Lucca a wonderful place to stay.

It's perfectly located for exploring the rest of Tuscany too. Pisa is very close and Florence is just a short drive or train journey away, while the natural beauty of the Apuan Alps, the Versilian coast and the idyllic Chianti region are easily reachable by car for a day trip or excursion. Staff are friendly and helpful and will be glad to offer advice or information about Lucca and the surrounding area.

This attractive Lucca hotel has just four rooms: two with their own private bathroom and the other two sharing bathroom facilities. Decorated in traditional Tuscan style, there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. Breakfast is not supplied, but that's no problem as there are any number of very nice bars and cafes in the vicinity. Go and pick up a pastry and coffee and, Italian-style, simply watch the world go by.
