Opened in 2001, the Best Western Classic Hotel offers contemporary design, comfort and service and the reassurance of a world-trusted name. This Reggio Emilia hotel is around 4km from the historic downtown area and some 6km from the railway station. Set on the road east of the town, it's well located for the highway/motorway exit and within easy reach of the city of Modena, further east of here. The car park can accommodate more than 300 vehicles, so access to the hotel is quick and easy.

Emilia-Romagna is a quite beautiful region of northern Italy. As well as historic cities such as Reggio, Modena, Bologna and Ferrara, it has lovely countryside and of course boasts some of Italy's finest cuisine. Nearby attractions include the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the breathtaking Sanctuary of the Basilica della Ghiara. Back at the hotel you can unwind after a long day's exploring with a sauna, Turkish bath or Jacuzzi, or take a workout in the hotel's small gym. In the warmer months there is sunbathing on the spacious terrace, and cocktails and dinner can be taken al fresco.

This is a delightful base for work too, with a congress centre, opened in 2002, catering for events of up to 400 people. The selection of rooms have the latest audio-visual equipment, with mobile walls allowing rooms to be split.
