A unique concept and a totally unique place to stay - the Color Hotel in Bardolino has been created around the concept of Chromotherapy, using colours subtly and creatively to evoke the perfect mood. The Manetti family, who own and manage this Bardolino hotel, have designed the interiors and rooms in harmonious shades - not just enhancing your mood, but reflecting the green of the lovely Veneto countryside, and the blues of Lake Garda and the Italian sky.

The hotel sits amidst lush gardens, with a brace of swimming pools. The first has a marvellous lounge and terrace; the second pool (the Laguna) sits amidst a verdant garden with palm trees. There is the Samsara whirlpool, with relaxing sun loungers, complete with mattresses and umbrellas. All this is set amidst 6000 square metres of garden with palm trees and oleanders. You have a private, enclosed and free car park; there is table tennis, cycles and mountain bikes free of charge. The front desk staff are on hand 24 hours a day, and you can relax in one of a number of bars. The Bamboo Bar specialises in exotic drinks, the Blue Bar is an American bar with the special Color cocktail. There is the Veranda Restaurant, the Citronella and Arancieia Rooms and the Samsara relaxation area.

Rooms here are a mix of doubles and suites. All have bathroom with shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, work desk, hairdryer and safe. Suites allow for a little more space (sleeping up to four) and add CD/DVD players and flatscreen LCD TV, whirlpool bath and luxuriant bathrobes.
