This innovative hotel located in the historic centre of Cremona is beautifully designed and popular with a hip and trendy crowd. Set in the area of the city famous for its violin makers - the world-famous Stradivarius name hails from here - this is a new concept in hotels; more of a marriage between a hotel and an art gallery where the very best of contemporary cutting-edge Italian design and art are brought together in a setting where guests can spend time enjoying and appreciating them. Cremona lies around one hour south east of Milan. This small, wealthy city is steeped in history. It was once a Roman fortress, later the birthplace of the composer Monteverdi and is full of fine, historic buildings and lovely churches.

Beneath its authentic palazzo facade, this supremely modern and most unusual hotel is a fabulous surprise. Cremona's Delle Arti has just 33 rooms - 30 comfortable and beautifully designed double rooms, two handsome suites complete with personal computer which guests may use, LCD-screen television and a gold bathroom suite with jacuzzi-style whirlpool bath, and one junior suite. Every room is individually furnished and equipped with satellite television (with a range of optional pay channels) internet connection, a large desk made from wenge wood, a well-stocked minibar and a personal safe for your personal documents and valuables.

The welcoming dining room is located in an exhibition area where contemporary paintings and sculptures are displayed. Exhibitions here are changing constantly and works by well-known photographers line the walls of the interconnecting spaces. A peaceful mezzanine room has a library with a Sony PlayStation 2 console for younger guests.

The accommodation has a spacious meeting and conference room seating up to 28 guests. There is also a Swedish sauna, a Turkish steam room, a Jacuzzi-style whirlpool bath and a well-equipped gymnasium. A further surprise is the garden courtyard where three large screens cover the walls with pictures. Covered parking can be found in front of the hotel.
