Eurhotel, Mirano, Venice
A few kilometres from Venice, Treviso and Padua, and within easy reach of the Brenta Riviera, Mirano's Eurhotel offers three-star accommodation ideal for business travellers and vacation visitors alike.
The Brenta Riviera is, of course, most famous for the magnificent Venetian Villas that Andrea Palladio and his followers built for the rich city folk of sixteenth century Italy, looking for a rural idyll to escape to from the congestion of Venice. In the process, Palladio invented an entirely new style of architecture - (the Palladian style is known to us today in the clean Neoclassical lines of Washington's White House or the Queen's House in London's Greenwich). A superb open-air architecture museum set in beautiful parkland, the Brenta Riviera makes a fascinating complement to trips into Venice (Venezia), Padua (Padova), Bassano del Grappa and the rest.
The Eurhotel Mirano is great for business visitors too. You are 3km from the main rail station here, good for the main highways (A4 Milan/Trieste, the A27 Venice/Belluno, and the A13 Bologna/Padova) and within easy reach of Venice's Marco Polo airport.
The hotel has a very nice breakfast room and garden, plus a good restaurant. The car park is monitored by camera security (and parking is free). There is a bar and terrace, family rooms (and non-smoking accommodation). Rooms are air conditioned, soundproofed, have a safe, alarm clock radio, bathroom with tub, direct phone, colour TV, desk and lamp. There are rooms to suit all sizes of party: single, double, three- and four-bed suites, and five-person family rooms.
