This is a lovely three-star hotel in Venice, in a great, central, canal-side location close by the Rialto bridge and near to the San Marco area, while at the same time being set back from the bustle and noise of the centre. The hotel is housed within an ancient Gothic-style palazzo; it possesses a magical atmosphere with plenty of original architectural details and refined, tasteful furnishings reflecting the original style of the building. Guest rooms are supremely comfortable and furnished with original antiques, and some have luxurious bathrooms fitted with Jacuzzi-style whirlpool baths, as well as a shower and fitted hairdryers.There is also a palatial suite with a romantic canopy bed and views on the SS Apostoli square and the canal. This is the room where the 14th-century Doge Falier originally slept.

The building has been carefully restored with great attention to detail. There are 20 guest rooms, all with either a king-size double or comfortable twin beds plus satellite television, direct-dial telephone, air conditioning and a well-stocked minibar. All rooms have wi-fi internet connectivity for use with a laptop computer and a selection of toiletries is provided for extra convenience. A tasty buffet-style breakfast is included in the price.
