The Gioia Aparthotel is a modern holiday complex located in the heart of Caorle, in Veneto on Italy's northern Adriatic coast. Lying just 60 metres from the sea and 400 metres from the historic centre, this accommodation was fully renovated in 2004.

Each of the two-, three-, four- and five-roomed suites is fully equipped with air conditioning/heating, colour satellite TV, contemporary design furniture, direct phone, dataport, voice messaging, high-speed internet access, safe and bathroom with shower and WC, safe and dishwasher (making this ideal for preparing family snacks and drinks). Breakfast is provided. The hotel has a bar, tennis court, private beach and cycles available. Daily cleaning of suites is available. The hotel has a garden/outdoor play area for the children and there is a free car park.

Caorle itself is a little town with roots as a fishing village, and which has become very popular with visitors in recent years. Its position on the north-eastern Italian coast - where Veneto region curves eastward to meet the region of Trentino Alto Adige and the city of Trieste - puts it off most tourist maps for UK and American holidaymakers, but it's very worth discovering. The town lies between the Livenza and Lemene estuaries, some 50km east of Venice itself (with Jesolo in between). The old town is a little Venice, with gaily coloured houses and 'calli' and 'campielli' for streets and squares. With a nice long beach and the Caprulan lagoon (typically Venetian and a magnet for those fishermen), and the typical 'casoni' houses where the over-wintering fishermen once lived, it's a charming spot.

Sights to see in Caorle include the Cathedral of St Stephen (dating from 1038 in a Romanesque-Byzantine-Ravennate style), and the Church of the Blessed Angel, standing alone and exposed on the seafront.
