This pleasant little three-star hotel in Novara province has a great location right on Orta San Giuilio's main square and within a few steps of the Lake Orta. The village itself is picturesque, even by Italian standards, and enjoys a beautiful setting at the foot of Monte d'Orta (sometimes known as Sacro Monte di San Francesco). This lovely spot has attracted visitors of all types for hundreds of years and there are dozens of pilgrimage chapels dotted around the mountain and in the town. For those seeking a more action-orientated holiday, there is an excellent range of tourist attractions and facilities for outdoor pursuits and watersports at nearby Lake Maggiore.

Orta San Giulio's Hotel Aracoeli is modern and well-appointed with seven comfortable rooms, all of which offer gorgeous lakeside views. Rooms are individually decorated and furnished, each with its own style and named after famous Italian songs. All rooms have private bathrooms and are air conditioned, and equipped with satellite television, direct-dial telephone and a well-stocked minibar. Bathrooms have showers and fitted hairdryers. A generous buffet breakfast, which includes local cheeses, fresh fruit and pastries, is included in the room rate. As well as double rooms, the hotel also has triple and quadruple rooms - children under five stay free - plus a beautiful suite.
