Hotel Baglio Basile, Marsala

A splendid new hotel created in western Sicily - the Hotel Baglio Basile is on the coastal route between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, and close to the town of Petrosino. The hotel has a lovely setting, amid green lawns and vineyards, palm trees and Mediterranean shrubs - a most relaxing environment. The hotel has meeting rooms, which can accommodate from 10 to 800 guests with ease. There is traditional Sicilian cuisine on offer and special menus can be arranged.

Throughout the summer, from June to September, there is an outdoor swimming pool, equipped with parasols and deckchairs. And there is a free transfer service to the hotel's private beach (it's five kilometres from the hotel) at fixed points throughout the day. And there are plenty of facilities to help you relax, including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fitness centre, Shiatzu and Watzu massage and wine therapy. The hotel has a Turkish bath and sauna, and there is a golf course nearby.

This Marsala hotel has 167 rooms, all of them located in the new, central building. All doubles, the rooms have private bathrooms, minibar, safe, satellite TV, phone and air conditioning, work desk and hairdryer. There are non smoking rooms, and rooms for guests with limited mobility. The hotel has a restaurant, a garden, lift/elevator to all floors and the front desk is open around the clock.
