This grand hotel dates back to 1820 (the early days of Cadenabbia, when it was evolving from a small fishermen's village into one of the most desirable destinations on Lago di Como. During 2005 the hotel was entirely refurbished, maintaining and enhancing the nineteenth century charm that has made this so popular with generations of visitors.

This Cadenabbia accommodation has 126 double rooms, some with balconies and some with lake views. The hotel restaurant offers delightful dining - fine Italian cuisine with a lake view. Dating back nearly two centuries, the hotel sits in mature gardens, bordering the botanic gardens of Villa Carlotta. The gardens contain a sizable open-air pool with sundeck surrounding.
