Hotel Bellevue is a comfortable, modern hotel centrally situated just 50 metres from Genoa's "Principe" railway station. All other transport links are within easy striking distance; the hotel is just 6km from the international airport and the harbour and 'stazione marittima' is only 200 metres away.

Genoa is Italy's largest port and has a fascinating maritime history stretching back over the centuries: Marco Polo was imprisoned here in the magnificent Palazzo di San Giorgio and the explorer Christopher Columbus spent his formative years here. Among Genoa's architectural treasures are the glorious Palazzo Ducale, home to former Dukes of Genoa, and the fabulous Renaissance villas which line the opulent Via Garibaldi. More recently Genoa has been declared European Capital of Culture, an event which was celebrated with the creation of a wonderful Sea and Navigation Museum.
