This beautiful four-star hotel on Italy's Tyrrhenian coast has a wonderful location, perched on a rock overlooking the glittering Gulf of Salerno between the coastal towns of Positano and Amalfi. There are fabulous views along the Amalfi coast from here and all the guest rooms have their own private seafront balcony. The ambience here is peaceful and relaxed and there is a pretty little rocky beach below the hotel as well as a super seawater swimming pool. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the surrounding area, including Pompeii, Herculaneum and the delightful island of Capri.

There are 35 bright, air-conditioned guest rooms here, including a handful of spacious suites, all with excellent en-suite bathroom facilities, cable/satellite television, direct-dial telephone, personal safe and a minibar stocked with drinks and snacks. A plentiful continental-style breakfast is included in the room rate and room service is also available. The poolside bar serves a tempting menu featuring freshly caught fish and local produce; there is also an excellent restaurant with an international menu which includes a selection of typical local dishes.

The hotel is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and there is a specially designated play area for children. Guests will find plenty in the way of outdoor activities and watersports in the area and the hotel has private fishing rights. Business guests are welcome to make use of the hotel's well-equipped meeting room, which has internet access and audio-visual equipment, and there is also a large car park and a useful minibus shuttle service to and from Amalfi and the airport. The reception desk is manned 24 hours a day and here guests will find a currency exchange, left-luggage and storage facilities and tourist information.
