The town is 120km from Venice and 35km from the historic city of Verona (with its famous Roman Arena, which hosts operas each summer). This part of Veneto is superb wine country (indeed Bardolino and Valpolicella are nearby). There is windsurfing, boating, diving and much more on the lake, while the Gardaland theme park offers fun for all the family.
