See Neptune's Grotto, and there is a large Marine Reserve with good diving, and a multitude of things to do include climbing, caving, bird watching, mountain biking, exploring the plentiful Roman and Greek ruins, even hunting if that's to your taste. Alghero has an international airport with direct flights to the UK from Ryanair.
