There is the circular Baptistery and the Camposanto - often called the most beautiful cemetery in Christendom. Heading out from the Campo we have a jumble of little medieval back streets, fine medieval churches, the very old and very good Botanic Gardens (Orto Botanico), and fine museums including the Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Reale. and travel along the River Arno, which bisects the city, to the vast 16th century Arsenale.
