Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi, Camogli, near Genoa
Via Cuneo, 34, CamogliThe Hotel Cenobiodei Dogi has a spectacular location in Camogli, near Genoa (Genova). Overlooking the coastline of the eastern Ligurian Riviera, and just a stroll away from the centre of the village, the hotel sits at a spot where the narrow shoreline drops dramatically into the northern Mediterranean. Behind the hotel sit the green, tree-clad hills of the Ligurian littoral.
Camogli occupies the centre of a natural amphitheatre, with olive and pine trees beautifully greening this Paradise Gulf. This little fishing village has a name which can alternatively be translated as the 'houses of wives' or 'houses close together'. The former refers to the wives of the sailors who spent so many months alone at home while the men were away at sea. The latter is obvious when you see the tall, narrow and pastel-coloured houses, packed tight alongside one another. The little town, of some 5000 inhabitants, is a lovely spot, with the brightly coloured fishing boats bobbing alongside the harbour. At the harbour, you'll find cafes and restaurants with superb views out to sea.
This Camogli hotel has a private beach and a seawater swimming pool. There are seven meeting rooms, accommodating from 10 up to 200 delegates. Many have a sea view and all have natural light. The hotel has WiFi internet access, restaurant, buffet breakfast, non smoking rooms, free parking, and facilities for guests with disabilities. There is a 24-hour front desk and a tennis court. This Ligurian Riviera hotel is the perfect spot for business and relaxation.
