This delightful Gardone Riviera hotel is easily accessible from either of the A4 or A22 autoroutes and is close to the famous Lake Garda, Italy's largest lake.

The two star Hotel Colomber can be found close to the heart of the Garda National Park in the hills above the Gardone Riviera. The hotel has been in the care of the Bertella family since 1928, and is set in a peaceful green valley between Mount Spino and Mount Pizzocolo. Each of the hotel rooms comes with en-suite bathroom facilities, satellite

television and air conditioning. There is ample private parking available also. Daily buses call at the hotel, connecting it with Salo and Gardone via the panoramic Vittoriale road, which gives fantastic views of the lake.

This Garda hotel has mountain bikes should you wish to explore the many local trails, which are also ideal for walking. A unique view of the valley and lake is possible as paragliding is also available locally. There is also a beautifully relaxing garden with a heated swimming pool and whirlpool if you prefer to spend your relaxing time at this hotel.

The hotel restaurant, which also has additional outdoor seating, serves local specialities cooked to authentic traditional recipes and accompanied by a choice of fine wines from the Lombardy region (and from further afield of course). The speciality of the restaurant is spiedo, a traditional kebab unique to the valleys of the region made with pork, rabbit, chicken, herbs and potatoes cooked slowly over hot coals and served with polenta - quite delicious!
