This friendly, family-run hotel in Piedmont has been run by the Brovelli family for three generations. Located on the Lombardy side of the wonderful Lake Maggiore, there are breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains from here. The Piedmont region of northwest Italy is famous for its distinctive cuisine and delicious wines as well as its glorious mountain scenery. The Hotel Conca Azzurra, Ranco is set in delightful gardens and the standards of service and hospitality are very high.

There are 29 attractively presented guest rooms, all with en-suite bathroom facilities, air conditioning, direct-dial telephone and a refrigerated minibar stocked with drinks and snacks. Guests can choose between wonderful views of Lake Maggiore or a magnificent mountain view, and all rooms have their own private balcony or terrace.

A swimming pool and tennis court can be found in the lovely gardens and a superb restaurant (La Veranda) has a romantic terrace and spectacular panoramic views of the lake. A tempting menu features typical local dishes alongside more familiar classic Italian specialities and there is a well-stocked wine cellar with a wide selection of wines. This Ranco hotel also a charming lounge/bar with an intimate, relaxed ambience.

The Conca Azzurra has a range of meeting facilities with audio-visual equipment and internet access, and there is also a nine-hole golf course nearby. Hotel staff can help out with information about cycling and rambling trails in the area and there is an attractive children's play area in the hotel gardens. There is plenty of free parking and pets are welcome.
