This attractively presented hotel in Trento province is located in the popular spa town of Levico Terme. Levico was once a favourite among the Austrian aristocracy, who flocked here each year to take the therapeutic, healing spring waters and bathe in the crystal clear lake. The three-star Hotel Cristallo is located in a quiet part of town, within easy walking distance of the elegant historic centre and close to the lovely Imperial Park. The Panarotto mountains are nearby - an area of outstanding natural beauty which is justifiably popular with walkers - and there are dozens of trails with glorious views. The hotel is open between May and October and a minimum stay of three nights is required. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome to join their owners here.

The Cristallo has 85 single, double and triple rooms with additional beds available for families. All the guest rooms feature a private en-suite bathroom with a fitted hairdryer and the rooms themselves are equipped with a personal safe, colour television, direct-dial telephone and ironing facilities. Ten of the rooms have been specially adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities and some rooms have panoramic views over the lake. A breakfast buffet is available between 7.30 and 10am and this is included in the room rate.

There are all kinds of services available to guests at the hotel, including a comfortable piano bar where there is often live music, an excellent restaurant serving a tempting menu featuring some typical local dishes alongside more familiar regional Italian cooking and international fare. There is also a fitness rooms, an open-air swimming pool surrounded by a sunny terrace and meeting facilities which can accommodate functions of up to 100 people.

There is friendly, helpful service on the front desk with a left-luggage and safety-deposit facility, a fax service and internet point and a shuttle service running to and from the railway station. The hotel has private parking available and mountain bikes may be hired from the front desk.
