This comfortable three-star hotel in Novara province is located in the little town of Omegna, which lies at the northern tip of Lake Orta. Orta is one of the region's prettiest and most unspoilt lakes, surrounded as it is by stunning mountain scenery and green forests. Omegna's Hotel Croce Bianca is particularly famed for its excellent fish restaurant, first established in 1874 - it has always been a meeting point for the townspeople and welcomes tourists and locals alike with its lively and friendly ambience. The hotel is situated close to the town centre and several rooms face on to the main town square. Nearby is a pleasant lido where guests can sunbathe and swim and there are plenty of opportunities for excursions and watersports on Lake Orta and nearby Lake Maggiore, which lies just 8km away.

There are just 36 guest rooms here, each simply yet comfortably furnished and equipped with satellite television, direct-dial telephone, bathroom and a well-stocked minibar. Guests can opt either for twin, double or triple rooms and several rooms have views on to the town square and the lake. The hotel has two restaurants - one on the first floor and another with a spectacular roof terrace on the top floor of the hotel. The main restaurant can seat up to 150 people and offers a delicious menu of regional and local dishes with plenty of delicious fish specialities, with live music and an array of special dining events laid on throughout the year.

Service is friendly and helpful and families with young children are enjoy a reduced rate for under-elevens. Cots are also available and some rooms can accommodate additional beds. All rooms are accessible by lift/elevator, quiet, well-behaved pets are welcome and private parking is available on request at a small additional charge.
