Lignano Sabbiadoro is a lovely seaside resort on the northern coast of the Gulf of Venice, halfway between Venice itself and the city of Trieste. The relatively undiscovered surrounding area is rich with natural beauty and boasts a fantastic range of tourist attractions to suit all tastes and ages. Active families with younger children will love the Aquasplash water park with its slides and pools, and the marine-themed adventure park Gulliverlandia has a fabulous submarine tunnel through which spectators can watch sharks and other marine fish from a safe vantage point. For older visitors, there is a golf course, several watersports centres and horse-riding schools, and the area is perfect for walking or cycling - as well as Lignano's glorious eight kilometre wide, sandy beach.

Lignano Sabbiadoro's Hotel Daniele has 36 comfortable guest rooms, with a choice of doubles, triples or larger family rooms. Rooms are all fully en-suite and equipped with satellite television and direct-dial telephone. A generous buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Superior rooms have LCD television screens with additional satellite channels. Standard rooms have a private balcony and deluxe rooms have a separate seating area with a sofa and minibar.
