This three-star Sorrento hotel is conveniently located for sampling all the sights of this lovely old town on Italy's southern Mediterranean coast. The Hotel del Corso is strategically placed, near all the shops, bars and restaurants of the Piazza Tasso (the main square of the town). From here, it's just 100 metres from both the train and the bus stations; it's also just a short walk to the port, where boats leave for Naples, Capri and Ischia, and a day trip to one of these places should not be missed. The Marina Piccola beach is just 150 metres from the hotel.

The Del Corso is located on the second floor of the 18th-century Palazzo De Gregorio. The hotel faces onto the main street of Corso Italia with its very good shops and bars and is ideally placed for the old centre of Sorrento. The palace is a grand old building and the former residence of the noble family De Gregorio. By staying here you will be sampling a real slice of Italian history, which could spur you on to sample the museums and galleries located nearby.

The hotel is now run by the Marciano family, who have transformed the building into a pleasant and relaxing place to stay; you will be assured of a warm welcome and if you have any questions the friendly staff will be on hand to help. The hotel has been recently renovated to the highest of standards, and its private entrance is on the second floor - guests take the elevator /lift up to the rooms above.
