This very pleasant three-star hotel on Lake Maggiore is located just outside Cannobio on the western shores of the lake, offering guests wonderful panoramic views of the beautiful Piedmontese countryside. A low-rise modern building, Cannobio's Hotel del Lago is set within extensive landscaped parkland and there are plenty of opportunities in the immediate area to try watersports or take an excursion around the lake in one of the many ferry boats that ply the waters. This Lake Maggiore hotel enjoys a lovely, tranquil position, yet is within easy reach of the town of Cannobio with its numerous bijou shops and boutiques and excellent range of restaurants and bars. All around is stunning countryside laced with hiking and cycling trails through the mountains.

There are just ten guest rooms here, all with bathrooms, individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite television, radio and minibar. All rooms have a private balcony with stunning views across the lake and surrounding countryside. The hotel staff are particularly proud of their excellent restaurant, which offers guests a tempting menu of delicious local specialities in a lovely panoramic setting. There is also an elegant bar and a generous buffet breakfast is available each morning.

Staff on the front desk are friendly and efficient and here guests will find plenty of tourist information, safety deposit facilities and a souvenir and gift shop. Parking is available free of charge and quiet, well-behaved pets are welcome. Children under five stay free of charge, however please note that there is no capacity for additional beds in rooms. There is no internet access available for guests at this Cannobio hotel.
