Hotel del Teatro, Spello

This Spello hotel is situated in the town centre between two of the town's major attractions, the Arch of Augustus and the Comunale Theatre, from which the establishment gets its name. Spello is built on a spur of Monte Subasio and lies between Assisi and Foligno. This historic town has many monuments remaining from the Roman era, including the town walls and the thermal baths. There are also many religious buildings to visit as well as castles and churches, with the Rocca Trecentesca particularly impressive on top of a hill overlooking the Tapiro river.

The Hotel del Teatro, Spello is in an 18th century building with medieval origins, which has been fully restructured to accommodate guests with all modern conveniences. The reception has a bar, lounge and meeting room where guests can get together and relax, and there is a covered terrace overlooking the valley below, and where you can have a drink or enjoy local dishes. Parking is provided for every guest and the friendly staff are on hand around the clock at the 24-hour front desk should you have any problems.

Each of the 11 three-star rooms is well equipped for you to enjoy your stay, with en-suite bathroom facilities including bath, shower and toilet, as well as a hairdryer. There is a desk and modem so that you can stay in touch, and a security chain and safe to give you peace of mind while you are out during the day. A minibar has also been included so that you can relax with a drink in the privacy of your own room. This hotel in Spello is in a great central location for anyone who wants to see one of the most historic cities in Umbria.
