Using the city of Messina as a base, visitors can easily access the nearby Peloritani mountains or Alcantara Gorges to go hiking (or gently strolling!) and enjoy the landscape. Mount Etna, Taormina and eastern Sicily's other places of interest are also within easy reach by car from this hotel in Messina, and the railway station is only a short walk from the Hotel Dello Stretto's doors.
