This family run farmhouse is located close to the historic town of Trapani and is perfect for a family holiday or romantic getaway. Overlooking olive groves and citrus and pine trees, the setting for the Hotel Duca di Castelmonte is truly idyllic. The guesthouse is traditional, yet equipped with all-modern facilities, and has been in the Curatolo family since the 18th century. The accommodation has been carefully restored, but two barns remain and are inhabited by various farm animals.

This four-star hotel boasts a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush gardens and delightful countryside. Cool off with a couple of laps and then play a few sets on the all-weather tennis court. There is also a table tennis table should you fancy it and there are plenty of opportunities for hiking in the nearby area. There are also ample facilities for playing football, volleyball and bowling.

Meals are home cooked by the landlady of the hotel, feature fresh farm produce and boast a range of delicious local tastes. There is also a farm museum which details the history of the house and is an ideal way to get to know your surroundings. Bike hire is also included in the price of your room.

Rooms are all bright and clean and offer private bathrooms, air conditioning and a minibar. Other services offered include left luggage and internet access, and there is ample parking within the hotel grounds. Pets are very welcome at the Hotel Duca di Castelmonte.
