Hotel Emmy, Vols am Schlern
This lovely four-star hotel in Italy's Alto Adige region is built in traditional Tyrolean style and enjoys a fabulous setting in the midst of the majestic Dolomite Mountains. Hotel Emmy is open all year round and stands at the feet of the imposing Schlern Massif, where walkers find breathtaking views at every turn and skiers enjoy the many kilometres of runs to suit every level of ability. During the summer months, guests enjoy peaceful sunbathing on the sun terrace while winter skiers have the use of a free ski bus which takes them up to the lifts. All year round there are guided walks and mountain-bikes are available for hire. During the afternoon, guests can enjoy cakes and coffee in the hotel's cake shop and ice-cream parlour.
