This practical, modern hotel in Florence is conveniently located only 300 metres from the airport; the heart of the city, with all its beautiful architecture and priceless paintings and sculptures is just a short bus or taxi ride away. This is the ideal place to stay for a short visit, or for guests who have an early flight. It's also well located for access to the country's A1 and A11 motorway/highway, with the exit particularly quick and easy to reach from here. Business visitors, too, will be delighted to find the city's business district with the international Exhibition and Congress centre just ten minutes' walk away.

Florence's Hotel Franchi has just 35 rooms, all with excellent en-suite bathroom facilities (including a shower and fitted hairdryer), plus individually controlled air conditioning and heating, colour television, direct-dial telephone, a well-stocked minibar and a small, private balcony where guests can enjoy views of the city. Rooms are bright and airy and decorated with classic colour schemes, and some rooms have a bathroom with a bath tub as well as a shower.

Breakfast is a rich and varied buffet, served in the light, cheerful breakfast room and the hotel also has a bar with an extensive range of drinks and cocktails on offer. There is no restaurant at the hotel but the surrounding area has plenty in the way of friendly bars, restaurants and informal pizzerias where guests can eat and drink at reasonable prices. Service at the front desk is friendly and helpful and staff will be only too happy to help you plan your itinerary or make travel reservations or restaurant bookings on your behalf. There is plenty of parking in the area around the hotel.
