And non-stop trains run into Termini from Fiumicino airport. The very good Rome public transport system (metro, buses and trams) can quickly get you just about anywhere in the city, though here in the centre you may choose to walk from sight to sight - it's a terrific way to soak up the atmosphere of one of the world's most historically important cities.

And in Rome of course that history is everywhere on display. The sights of the ancient city are nearby this hotel in Rome, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Domus Aurea and the Palatine Hill (among many others). There is St Mary Maggiore, one of the city's major basilicas. You have the university nearby, and attractions such as the Palazzo Massimo and the Palazzo Barberini, the Palazzo Doria Pamphili and the Trevi Fountain. With museums, galleries, statuary, piazzas and superb architecture spanning nearly three millennia (not to mention great restaurants and fashion shopping), there is more than you could exhaust in a dozen vacations in Rome.
