An hotel in Venice tucked away in a hidden backwater of the city, between Campo Sant'Angelo and Campo Manin, the elegant Hotel Gallini is very well placed, close to all the city's major attractions. The Gallerie dell'Accademia and Piazza San Marco, with its fabulous Byzantine Basilica, is just five minutes' walk away and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and trattorias within easy walking distance of this hotel in Italy. The hotel is presided over by its resident supervisor - an aristocratic cat named Mr Palllino who came to visit some years ago and decided to make his home here. For this reason, the management regrets the hotel is unable to accept pets.

All 40 rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, looking out either onto the tranquil Canal della Verona or over the hotel's attractive interior courtyard. Friendly, attentive staff are keen to ensure all their guests enjoy a pleasant, relaxing stay here. Rooms are simply furnished and have a modern shower room, satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, personal safe and radio alarm. Wake-up calls are available on request and breakfast is served in a charming, bright breakfast room between 7.30 and 10.00 am.

Guests should be aware that this hotel does not have a lift, however staff will gladly help guests with their luggage. This Venice hotel has a small currency exchange and an elegant lounge bar provides guests with a quiet spot for a relaxing drink. Major credit cards are welcome.
