This cosy B&B-style hotel in Milan is located in a peaceful area that's easily accessible from the motorway/highway and well-connected to the city's public transport network.This friendly little hotel makes an ideal starting point for a sightseeing or shopping trip to this vibrant north Italian city. It's a good base for business visitors, too - the commercial district with the trade fair centre is within easy reach, as is the world famous Giuseppe Meazza/San Siro football stadium. Milan's Hotel Gambara is a family-run hotel spread over two floors of a recently restored old building. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and standards of comfort and service are excellent. The Gambara underground/subway station (red line 1) is just 50 metres from the hotel doors and the Tangenziale Ovest ring road is easily accessible from here.

There are just 13 simply furnished, comfortable rooms, either with en-suite shower facilities or a shared bathroom. All rooms are accessible via the hotel's lift/elevator and equipped with a ceiling fan, colour television and direct-dial telephone. An ample continental-style breakfast is available in the morning for a small additional charge. English is spoken here and there is friendly, efficient 24-hour service on the front desk. Staff will be only too pleased to offer tips and advice on places to eat in the city and maps are available. There is a safety-deposit and left-luggage facility on the reception desk and a limited amount of secure garage parking.
