Hotel Grillo can be found in the quiet town of Assemini, not far from Cagliari-Elmas international airport and just 12 minutes from the port of Cagliari and the ancient town with its atmospheric 13th-century cobbled streets and pretty tree-lined boulevards. Not to be missed is Cagliari's wonderful archeological museum with its unique collection of Nuraghic statuettes from between 1500 and 500 BC. Assemini itself is famous in its own right for the wonderful handicrafts and ceramics which would make lasting mementos of a trip to Sardinia.
