Hotel Helvetia, Grado, is pleasantly located in the area known as Citta Giardino - a quiet spot on the island of Grado not far from the historic centre and close to the excellent, sandy beach. This hotel near Venice is well located for outdoor activities such as tennis and mini-golf and there is an attractive children's playground nearby. It is also very near the congress centre, making this a popular choice for business guests looking for somewhere relaxing and quiet, yet within easy reach of the business centre; there is also a popular thermal spa nearby.

There are 36 comfortable, well-appointed rooms here, all with excellent en-suite facilities as well as direct-dial telephone and satellite TV and almost all with a small balcony offering pretty views of Grado. Several rooms have been adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities and the hotel has a lift/elevator. Children are welcome and there is an attractive outdoor play area in the hotel grounds. A rich buffet breakfast is provided in the morning including a selection of typically English dishes.

The hotel restaurant offers a menu of typical local flavours along with more familiar international dishes and there is also a stylish American-style bar with a comprehensive drinks list. Special diets can be catered for upon request and a generous salad buffet is offered both for lunch and dinner alongside a choice of menus.

There is friendly, efficient service on the reception desk where guests will find a useful safe-deposit facilty; there is also an internet point where guests can access their personal emails and surf the net. Outside, there is a pleasant garden with a sun terrace and plenty of private parking. No pets.
