A modern four-star hotel in the heart of Tuscany's Etruscan coast, the Hotel Hermitage is in Marina di Bibbona, which gazes out over the blue Tyrrhenian Sea onto the Tuscan Archipelago and beyond to Corsica.

This hotel, in Tuscany's Livorno province, sits in its own pretty gardens, full of Mediterranean plants and flowers, 400 metres from the centre of town and 700 metres from the sea. Nearby is the lovely expanse of Marina di Bibbona beach with its fine sand and flanked by pine woods. Nearby is parkland linking Marina di Bibbona and Marina di Cecina, the perfect venue for relaxing walks or horse riding expeditions.

The hotel has a large swimming pool in the middle of the complex, plus a pool for the children. There is a bar in the lobby providing drinks to be enjoyed by the pool, outside in the garden, or on the comfort of your balcony. There is a safe at reception, available free of charge for guests. Excursions, car hire and wine tastings can all be booked at the reception. The price of your room includes a welcome drink, parking, use of the pools, table tennis and bike hire, plus courses in swimming and aqua-aerobics three times a week (May to September). Between June and mid-September there is a beach service and shuttle, and during July and August musical entertainment once or twice a week.
