This attractive family-run hotel in Venice is located in the city's historical and artistic heart, overlooking the Cannareggio Canal, close to the Jewish quarter and the Guglie Bridge. All the important sights and attractions in the city are within easy walking distance and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

The two-star Hotel Hesperia has just 15 rooms, all of which are comfortably air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter. Well-appointed en-suite shower rooms have a range of complimentary toiletries as well as a built-in hairdryer, and every room has direct-dial telephone, cable/satellite television, personal safe and a well-stocked minibar. Many of the rooms offer wonderful views over the canal, and cots are available for families travelling with young infants. There is also a babysitting service and under-threes stay free of charge. Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.45am.

One of the attractions of this particular hotel is the array of interesting artworks hanging on the walls alongside copies of well-known paintings. Some rooms are hung with lovely Murano glass chandeliers and all are tastefully and comfortably furnished and decorated.
