Lying a little way east of Turin, the Hotel Hostellerie du Golf is set within a country house, in Pecetto Torinese. This charming hotel artfully combines a comfortable base for the tourist (visits into Turin are a must), a pleasantly green location and is just a short hop from the golf course.

In the morning you can be taking coffee and pastries at one of Turin's justly famous city centre cafes. And in the afternoon you can be relaxing by the swimming pool or whiling away the hours in a courtyard filled with olive trees. The low set building is painted in a shade of pinky orange, with wooden shutters and red tiled roof. This is one of the 'vigne', which were formerly country holiday residences for the rich of Torino. Everything is as it should be - slate floors, yellow walls, fireplaces, floral decorations, sofas and Frau armchairs. The atmosphere is simultaneously comfortable, informal and very friendly.

The 26 rooms are singles, doubles and triples, all with minibar, air conditioning, phone, TV and bathroom (with shower and toilet). This Piedmont hotel has a restaurant, bar, gardens, free parking, safe and non smoking rooms. There is the outdoor swimming pool and, of course, the golf course. And you can really get a flavour of Turin and the Piemonte region at La Volpe e l'Uva Restaurant with fine local cuisine and wines (they are very good) and a terrace with views of the golf course.
