The Hotel Hungaria Palace is located in the centre of the stylish Venice (Venezia) Lido. Housed in a beautiful neo-Renaissance palace built around the turn of the last century, this four-star Venice hotel is a terrific base for exploring this most historic of cities. All the delights of the Lido are within easy reach, including the lovely sandy beach and the glamorous casino. Meanwhile, the city centre with Saint Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) and a wealth of beautiful churches, museums, galleries, palazzi and other must-sees lie just a short boat ride away across the lagoon. You can spend days just strolling the narrow alleyways (calli), criss-crossing the canals by bridge and discovering unexpected courtyards and churches - this is a truly unique and enormously atmospheric city.

This hotel has real style and rooms are furnished and decorated with typical Venetian Art Nouveau furnishings, many of which were designed by the eminent Venetian craftsman and cabinet maker, Eugenio Quarti. There are 82 bright, spacious rooms offering guests a choice between singles, doubles, triples and a selection of sumptuous suites. Every room has a direct-dial telephone, internet connection point, satellite television, am/fm radio, personal safe and a well-stocked minibar. All the rooms have their own private bathroom fitted with a hairdryer and a range of complimentary toiletries; the rooms of the fourth floor offer guests breathtaking views over the Lagoon. Non-smoking rooms are available on request and cots/cribs are provided for families with young babies. There is a reduced tariff for under-12s and children under the age of three stay free. In the morning, guests are offered a choice between a delicious continental breakfast or the full English version, both of which are served between 7 and 10.30am in the Winter Garden, a sunny veranda which looks out on to the hotel gardens.
