Set in a former monastery, Hotel La Locanda lies close to the ancient Roman amphitheatre and the majestic Porta Fiorentina. During the 18th century, the building belonged to Anton Filipo Giacchi, an eminent historian and archaeologist whose life's work was to explore the ancient civilisation and culture of the Etruscans.
