Hotel Lidomare, Amalfi

Close to the sea front, the Hotel Lidomare is a small hotel with huge rooms located in a traditional 14th century building on one of Amalfi's historic squares, the Plaza Duomo.

Guests can be sure of a warm welcome from the hospitable Camera family, who own and run this charming hotel. It has 15 rooms, each equipped with private bathroom and/or shower, satellite TV, safe, air conditioning, minibar, direct-dial phone, central heating and Jacuzzi. All the rooms are beautifully furnished, with elegant pieces of antique furniture creating an atmosphere of luxury and calm.

The Hotel Lidomare also has three holiday apartments in Lone, an area easily accessed from the coast road linking Amalfi and Positano. These are close to two of the best beaches on the Amalfi coast, Duoglio and Santa Croce, both of them renowned for their clean sand and crystal-clear water.

The decor in the apartments is a mixture of the old and the new, with antique and modern pieces of furniture existing happily side by side, making the apartments both stylish and comfortable. The apartments also feature some beautiful Vietri tiles, locally made but now world-famous.

Amenities in the apartments, which are ideal for both holidaymakers and honeymooner, include reverse-cycle air conditioning, satellite TV, safe and hairdryer.
