The Hotel Locanda del Mar, Imperia is a newly built hotel, set at the furthest western point of the Prino area; this is a superb position, just ten metres from the waters of the Gulf of Genoa (Golfo di Genova). A little off the beaten track then, and with just six double rooms, one triple, some with sea views, you're going to be away from the crowds here - a lovely way to enjoy this stretch of the Italian Riviera (this area being specifically known as the Riviera dei Fiori or 'riviera of flowers').

Comfort is everything at this modern hotel in Imperia. And of course there is Imperia itself, a working port and with its characteristic narrow lanes or 'carrugi'. Once a possession of Genoa, this is a town with plenty of history of its own.
