Lido di Jesolo is one of the highlights of the Veneto region. In addition to its 15 kilometres of sandy beaches there's a golf course, a theme water park and a vibrant shopping centre. Jesolo's pedestrian area becomes one of the largest in Europe when the main part is closed to traffic in the summer evenings. If you tire of sun, fun, comfort and relaxation, make the 30 kilometre trip to Venice or the shorter, 18 kilometre drive to Punta Sabbioni, from where you can take a motor boat across the lagoon right into Piazza San Marco.
