The owners of this Sardinian hotel breed horses and offer riding lessons for adults and children alike, whatever your level of expertise.

And there is much more besides, with organised hikes, hacking, Jeep excursions and mountain bike riding. After a tiring day's exploration, you can unwind in the hotel's heated indoor pool, take a massage, pedicure or manicure, or ease back in the Turkish bath. Then enjoy superb, traditional Sardinian cuisine in the restaurant. There are double rooms, family rooms and suites for up to four guests. Dotted around the island are the mysterious neolithic Nuraghe (beehive-like stone buildings), and there is the vast cave at Tiscali, housing the remains of a prehistoric village.
