Like many hotels along the beautiful Amalfi coast, the elegant Hotel Marmorata (in a quiet spot 800 metres from Minori and a five-minute drive from Amalfi) is on the side of a cliff with breathtaking views over the sea. It makes an ideal base from which to take a bus or boat to some of the area's famous sightseeing attractions, including the ancient city of Amalfi, the Emerald Grotto and the islands of Positano and Capri.

Originally a historic paper-mill owned by the Camera d'Afflitto family - it produced the famous "carta bambagina", also known as "carta a mano di Amalfi" - the building was converted just over 20 years ago into a comfortable family-run hotel that offers a warm welcome, first-class service and every modern amenity.

The hotel offers beautifully appointed, comfortable, deluxe rooms and suites, each with sea view, antique furniture, queen-size beds and Jacuzzi. Suites also have their own small, private garden.
