This comfortable three-star hotel on Tuscany's Versilian coast has a great location just a few steps from the beach at Viareggio. It was completely refurbished and extended in 2005 and now offers very comfortable three-star accommodation and a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. A particularly striking feature of Viareggio's Hotel Mirage is its beautiful panoramic solarium roof garden, which offers peaceful sunbathing amid breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and the distant Apuan Alps.

There are 22 en-suite guest rooms, and guests are offered a choice of singles, doubles, triples and quadruple, all with balcony or terrace and sea views. Rooms are equipped with satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, an internet point, stereo system and a well-stocked minibar, and the hotel is comfortably air conditioned. In addition, there is a handful of non-smoking and allergy-free rooms, children under 12 enjoy a reduced rate and several rooms have been adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities.

The Mirage has a lovely restaurant with a terrace and a tempting menu of delicious local and regional specialities.
