This lovely four-star hotel in Amalfi has a spectacular position, high up on the cliffside, and views from here are truly magnificent. It is peacefully situated on the edge of the town and enjoys wonderful sea views, yet the centre of Amalfi, with its excellent choice of restaurants and shops, is just a ten-minute walk away. A lift/elevator takes guests down the cliff face to the private beach and sea-water swimming pool and there is a diving platform here, too. Amalfi itself is a pretty seaside resort on the Bay of Naples with a long cultural history and outstanding natural beauty. Nearby are fascinating places to visit for day trips or excursions, including Pompeii, Positano and the islands of Ischia and Capri.
