It's surprisingly uncrowded given the popularity of this stretch of coastline. The highest peak, Monte di Portofino has amazing views.

Other 'must sees' along this stretch of Ligurian Riviera include the towns of Portofino, Sestri Levante and Santa Margherita Ligure. Head a little further and you come to the marvellous Cinque Terre, the five little villages strung out along the clifftop and gazing down onto the waters below. At their end lies the bustling seaside town of La Spezia.
